After a long day of walking, I take a break at the Cafe Class in Edinburgh. As I sit at a table, a word comes to my mind: « Cosy »!

I love the concept of “cosiness” . While traveling, I realised that this English word does not necessarily translate into all languages. For example, in French, three words are needed: “comfortable, intimate and warm” . I find that the Café Class is an embodiment of “cosiness” . There are bright colours, wood, old objects and lights. In addition, their carrot cake is excellent! I’ve come to realise that carrot cake is a cake that can be found everywhere in Scotland. But none is the same. Tea rooms often show that it is « homemade ». Everyone has his own recipe. This one is very soft and its frosting is generous. Perfect!
